I need your help, Twitter friends. There was a New Age artist in the 1960s named Sonya that painted the painting seen in the photograph. Anyone recognize the painting or artist? I don’t know her last name. I’m trying to piece together a little mystery.

Locating obscure 19th c. occult sources is not a problem. Their patina is such that even the most ignorant booksellers ask for premium prices. But finding 1980s obscure UFO stuff is. Not well-produced, well-kept or digitized, they are only footnotes in other UFO studies.

Recently, I've started working my way through sharing/resharing each book on this shelf of hardcover Cthulhu Mythos anthologies. I'll be sharing one of the all-time classic Mythos anthologies, "Cthulhu 2000," soon.

"New Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos" edited by Ramsey Campbell, published by Arkham House in 1980. In 1969, Arkham House published "Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos", the first H.P. Lovecraft tribute anthology. This is the sequel anthology released about a decade later. 1/2

I don’t know, it’s a weird case with conflicting statements. A cloaked figure, strange blue lights, silver jewelry she wore turned black, a ritual dagger found with her, a cross drawn in the sand where she laid in. Her manuscript confiscated by the police that now seems lost.

Hi, a synopsis of the case? See here: shetlandarts.org/blog/the-myste… The photo and short byline was the only thing the Daily Mirror posted in 1929.
