Sing sang sung? Give gave given? Drink drank drunk? We kept enough ancient Anglo-Saxon constructs to bone the entire rest of the world
We don't even assign gender or decline nouns like most languages do! We make up for this by having the MOST EFFED UP irregular verbs ever.
I give/you give/he or she gives/we give/they give a flying fuck what you think, vs other languages' ? English is AMAZING in that regard.
Not that Google Translate is particularly awesome. Native English speakers trade ease of conjugation for ~1million irregular verbs.
