The goal of Generic Programming isn't to create a zero overhead abstraction. It typically aims for a **low** overhead abstraction, balancing raw perf with simplicity, clarity, and a modest set of semantically meaningful concepts.
SeqAn core team member Enrico Seiler has just released v3.0.0 of the Succinct Data Structure Library (SDSL): github.com/xxsds/sdsl-lit… Get it while it's hot 🔥 #bioinformatics #sdsl #cplusplus
Thanks to the team @SeqAnLib for providing such an efficient framework for the development of biological sequence analysis tools with #cplusplus. RLM is available via GitHub: github.com/sarahet/RLM

Next Monday we present another #bioCpp course at the #GCB. It is online so you can join from everywhere. Registration open until tomorrow (gcb2020.de/Registration.h…) Join us if you want to learn more about modern #cpp in bioinformatics. More information here gcb2020.de/WS4.html
Many thanks to all participants of our #ISMB2020 tutorial BioC++. It was a great digital experience and we had a lot of fun together learning modern #cpp ☺️! Next opportunity will be @GCB_Deutschland 2020 ;). Training by @denbiOffice and @ELIXIREurope
Unfortunately, @denbiOffice canceled all F2F #training courses until the end of April. Only the course "Introduction to #RegularExpressions" will take place online. For more information see: denbi.de/training/774-i…
