It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the yard doing trailer repairs as well as building this roof. Been learning a lot from @boatshiftSimon during the last few months and gaining more experience in the maintenance side of things.
What a privilege it was to help load this this morning, would love to have heard some stories about this boat!
Been all over the place the last 2 weeks. From St Carles Marina (Spain) to Port Dielette (N France) then back to to Castelsarrasin ( S France now to head home for some well deserved rest! @boatshiftSimon
Loaded in sandwich yesterday at 4.2m and unloaded in Cardiff this morning. Quick run down to Chichester to load at 3.8m duct hop steel cruiser heading to St Olaves in Gt Yarmouth
The last 2 weeks have seen me drive over 3000 miles. Stared in Hamble Point and taking it to St Carles marina in Spain, then down to Dénia to re load and head home to Deliver in Bray. The last one was loaded in Gillingham in the rain and the wind and headed to Wroxham.
So this year has flown by and the van is parked up having a rest over Christmas. Couple off weeks off rest before hitting the tarmac for another year. Hope everyone has a good Christmas and a very happy new year @boatshiftSimon
Parked up at Wroxham ready to load tomorrow so I thought I would give the outside off the van a clean as I haven’t had time recently. Now she’s ready to hit the road. @boatshiftSimon
Escorting this Beneteau 37 from Kip to the Yard before taking it to the south of France I’m Monday. Was already loaded and ready to go when I arrived. Hopefully be home tomorrow. @boatshiftSimon
Loaded in Brundall this morning with a sealine 330 and escorted it to Lake Windermere where I parted and drove to Kip in Scotland ready to escort the next one
Bavaria 33 sport loaded in Port Solent, first load in charge for me and many more to come @boatshiftSimon
Leaving the yard in the way to Devon tonight. I’m putting my feet up while the boss is doing all the driving. @boatshiftSimon
Finally delivered the Targa 40 to Buton Waters Marina today. Night out tonight, now time for pub grub and a pint 😜@boatshiftSimon
It’s a bit late but Friday night sore us arrive at Calais to come home at a reasonable hour. From leaving the yard to arriving back to the yard we covered 2067 miles with only one delay. @boatshiftSimon @jonathanbass87
Yesterday we loaded this Taga 40 in Sant Carles to bring back to Burton Waters. Now on the A75 at Caylar having some lunch. @boatshiftSimon @jonathanbass87
We’ve arrived in Benicarlo with out a problem, now time for some R&R. @boatshiftSimon @jonathanbass87
