We were working on an MSc project on the gw of Highbury Park, close to my home. Discovered a 337m borehole log for a brewery nearby in 1885 from BGS geoindex, signed by Prof Lapworth. First time I felt a direct connection with him since I started working in his legacy department
Very fortunate to have seen this map in the Lapworth museum. Isn't Professor Fred Shotton the first Professor of Hydrogeology in the UK?
