I can’t believe how much shit gets flung at @jessphillips for this act of compassion. You might not agree with her political views, but be kind, be decent and please be respectful. This is the same person who year on year reads out a list of women killed in parliament.
I've kneeled to be respectful in church, bowed my head in submission for lives lost. I have knelt on the floor in front of constituents, family, friends to hold their hands and meet their eyes if they were in distress. We submit & make ourselves smaller to help people feel power
I live with suicidal thoughts, but sometimes they’re louder than usual. This happened last week, and I’m ok now. I always wait, and they always go. Please don’t kill yourself xx
