Same here. Agree: poverty can’t be the root of this. It speaks to behaviour devoid of dignity - absolute depravity. I’m not sure how something like this is overcome. Yes, not all men are like this, but the very idea of masculinity is challenged by this.
There’s something very wrong with us as a society in SA. And poverty giving rise to crime can’t be the only answer for all problems. I just don’t understand this kind of behavior against children 💔💔
