Go check out my first piece for @FanSided on why Mason Greenwood is worth his weight in gold, despite his indifferent first half of the season. #MUFC reddevilarmada.com/2021/01/19/gre…

Can we just appreciate Son’s goals compared to his expected goals this season it’s incredible (xG).

Heung-Min Son nearly makes it two, brilliant work from Kane and Ndombele, Son to no surprise is playing on the shoulder of the Sheff U defence, he’s played in and dinks the ball over Ramsdale, he hits the post he’s so unfortunate.

Serge Aurier scores from a corner, Spurs are the specialists when it comes to early goals, that’s there 9th goal in the first 15 minutes of games this season.

Game over already? De Bruyne plays a lovely ball across the penalty box and Foden finishes superbly, all he needed was to guide the ball past Mendy, he did 2-0.

The turn and finish from Ilkay Gundogan was superb, City had a poor start but have looked better in the last 5 minutes and lead.

Why is Lampard playing Werner up front when Ziyech, is a brilliant crosser but he has Werner to aim for rather than Giroud or Abraham. #CHEMCI

Brighton take on Southampton tonight at the Amex Stadium tonight. Due to the Tier 2 restrictions in the area, the game will be played in front of 2,000 home fans tonight. #BRISOU

Werner off for Pulisic is an interesting one, I’m surprised Havertz or Giroud haven’t been brought on but 15 minutes remain it’s 0-0.

Chelsea are starting to assert their dominance. Spurs are really struggling to get out of their own half this may require a Lo Celso or maybe even a Gareth Bale to turn this around

Ndombele with the quick feet yet again and wins a foul off Zouma and the Chelsea man is booked.

Finally the full backs are being utilised twice now from dangerous crosses from Reece James Abraham nearly got on the end of both, should be Giroud time soon.

Spurs are being so compact centrally the full backs are so important for Chelsea today.

6 ball recoveries for Sergio Reguilon in the first half alone, he’s gone under the radar for many this season. He’s been fantastic so far.

Spurs are playing a dangerous game allowing Hakim Ziyech to cut inside with his dangerous left foot and cross none have been effective so far but with the aerial prowess of Tammy Abraham there’s always that risk.

Brilliant play from Tammy Abraham looks as if he is in a cul de sack but beats Dier and wins a corner for Chelsea good play from the striker

Tanguy Ndombele is proving me and many people wrong this season. His low centre of gravity and his ability to beat a man is fantastic to watch. Seems to be a new breed of midfielders who are able to beat a man like a winger it’s very effective.

Bergwijn and Son are practically playing as auxiliary central midfielders without the ball. Which is an interesting approach considering the quality of the Chelsea full backs.

Ziyech was picked out in a good central position tries to play it to Werner but plays it out of play need to do better in those scenarios

Good bit of a link up on the right hand side there for Tottenham, intricate little passes involving Hojberg, Son and Aurier. Spurs have started well here.
