I applaud our People for one of the best third quarter operational performances in our history. We generated record third quarter operating and unit revenues; solid margins; strong cash flows and returns to Shareholders; and a healthy profitsharing accrual for our Employees.
The single greatest threat facing our nation today is ourselves. The random stranger who cares can be heroic, and deserves heaps of praise, but still doesn’t get picked in the first round of my hero draft. Random heroics isn’t a model you can codify.
ABC's "title" for the story this morning is "Massacre in America." Is that really necessary? To add a mini-series feel to these events? The producers are so far gone down the road of cheap drama they can't even hear themselves anymore.
