She knows her dad well enough to know he might have said that jokingly but there was a seriousness to it. The pop idol smiled wide. “‘Course I do, but I don’t need you get a big head about it either. Nobody compares to you, Shanks. You’re the best dad a girl could ask for.”
He hugged her back, a large smile appearing on his face. "C'mon, I know you think the same" He would reply in a jokey manner. But in reality, he wasn't all that confident in his parenting skills.
She hugged him tightly. “Yeah, don’t push your luck.” He is the greatest dad and anyone who would say otherwise would get it from her.

"We reconciled a while ago" He said, fingers going up to his neck and fiddling with his new necklace. "He gave me this necklace on my birthday - but Uta, I've messed things up again... and I don't even know if he should be around me anymore"
"Mhm. Stayed a pirate like you and has some little act going. What about him?”
He let out a deep sigh, knowing he will be caught with his lie. "Do you remember my childhood friend ? The one I told you about. Buggy"
