Outside of his PhD research, Siyavash is passionate about video creation and knowledge translation. He combines these two into a YouTube channel which focuses on making neuroscience concepts accessible to the general public! Check out his channel here: youtube.com/@vashtag
Siyavash continues to look at motion sickness in his PhD. He is currently examining how an individual's sensory re-weighting changes with exposure to a sickening virtual environment. The aim is to see if an individual’s sensory re-weighting is responsible for motion sickness.
For our final #KHSFeatureFriday of the Winter 2023 term, we are highlighting PhD candidate Siyavash Izadi Sohktabandani! Siyavash previously completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at #UWaterlooKHS. His research as a #KHSGradStudent focuses on motion sickness.
