Never in my life have I cut alfalfa and had it ready to bale 24 hours later. Most beautiful hay we’ve ever made but I’m not sure if I’m happy about that or afraid of the dry-ness this early.

Monday. Team sort five pens of cattle for market with hubs. (I make the calls.) Next Monday, truckers hired to help haul ask hubs *while I’m in the pen next to him* if he wants them in the pen instead of me. Gentlemen, don’t do this. 🙄

This morning I was at @SkyViewBeef in Nora Springs to announce the opening of the Choose Iowa Marketing and Promotion grant application window! Through this program, producers and businesses can receive grants of up to $25k for value-added ag products #IowaAg
