Got the grandson out to let him fire off some of his thousand casts for the ol’ wiley steelhead. No luck on this day but this kid has a knack for finding them, they won’t be able hide from him for long 😉
Not the best picture but a favorite one I took. I was doing creel survey along Meacham Creek when I came across this Golden Eagle feeding on a train killed elk carcass. When I was getting ready to take the picture these elk ran out in the background as the eagle took flight.

Robert Ritchie was the DEI hire for the extreme right who needed a safe space from the Bad Bunny halftime show. I mean how could they have to listen his message of “love over hate”, or “Together we are stronger” if it’s in a different language. 🙄
I remember going to our Tribe’s Recreation program when I was like 12 years old. They brought us to Walla Walla State Prison and had a bunch of the Native inmates give us the original “Scared Straight” speeches. I remember they mocked me for asking about “rehabilitation programs”
