It was a pleasure to buy my 3rd & final trailer from @MountComfortRV as they prepare for the transition to Camping World. They’ve had this ‘76 Scotty for 15 years & I had to jump on it when they put it up for sale! Big thanks to Ken, Rusty & Chris for years of great service!
Welp, I did a thing. 3rd one I’ve purchased from Mount Comfort RV. This likely never would’ve happened if they hadn’t sold the business to Camping World. But since they did, “everything must go”, including this beauty they’ve had since 2008 as a show piece.
September 14, 2002, Jennifer and I started out on our roadtrip of life to parts unknown. While no one knows how long their roadtrip will last, ours has been pretty darned good so far. Back on the road, we quest.

Couldn’t think of a better way to kill an afternoon than hanging out at the lot at @MountComfortRV with @tooter302 and hearing stories from owner Ken Eckstein about his 50 years in the RV industry. They’ve got 483 trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes on the lot…get ya one!

13 years ago today we made the trip to Elkhart, hitched up for the first time and became RVers.
Hard to believe 11 years ago today my little Small Trailer Enthusiast page went live! In that time the site has received 3.3 million visits, created job offers for me in the RV industry, countless personal & industry relationships, and helped a ton of folks find their next RV.
After working remote out west for the month of July, it’s great to be back at our happy place in @ParkeCounty.
