My students especially enjoyed the hands-on document based activity: “Who’s the Victor?” They researched Edison and Victrola phonographs, played them and had a debate over which product was better! @ThomasEdisonNHP
Thanks to @NPSEducation Ranger Shemaine for hosting my students @ThomasEdisonNHP earlier this week. We enjoyed getting to experience firsthand where Edison and his employees researched and developed many of the things we use each day.

Today, students were given 10 minutes to “show me what they know” before the assessment and I told them I would not erase the info. The collaboration and discussion was incredible. What an inspiring mess! Awesome job!
