Waiver order is not the same as projected draft order. Waiver uses SoS of games played to date, draft order projection uses SoS for games played and that will be played later this season
To clarify as many people are responding with this: per the official waiver order for NFL teams, the Giants currently have the edge for the number 1 pick, ahead of the Raiders. 1. Giants 2. Raiders 4 weeks left to determine the final order.

Not sure you can call this a lie. It might have been true at the time and since then there had been a change of heart.
This implicitly means that Christmas Day football is here to stay, because the most awkward day to do it on is Wednesday—and the NFL is twisting itself into a pretzel to make it happen. They once said they wouldn't put Christmas games on just any day of the week. That was a lie.

.@NFLResearch, when was the last time, if ever, a team winning the toss in OT deferred please? Because I expect that’ll happen if we have a playoff overtime this year with the new rule. Defer, then if the opponent gets a TD, you drive and plan a 2-pt, like a truncated college OT.
Kyle Shanahan did exactly what college football fans know NOT to do in overtime under these types of rules, and it was their downfall.
Letting 10 seconds run off the clock before taking a timeout with under 30 seconds left contributed to this. That’s on him.
