All I can say is: I hope another streamer decides to #SaveVampireAcademy because it was barely given a chance to thrive. It has a readymade fanbase, but it was also locked away at Peacock, and hard to find outside of the US. Maybe @PrimeVideo or @hulu or will save it.
Shows are given no chance to grow global audiences with their insane, staggered debuts. By the time a show finally gains fans around the world, it’s already been cancelled. It makes no sense. How do you expect to retain subscribers, when you constantly kill shows??
I’m very grumpy about the #VampireAcademy cancellation, and also thinking about how—with today’s dire state of streaming—long-running hit series like ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Vampire Diaries’ would absolutely have been canned in their first seasons.
