Cheap things doesn't make sense to us again, how will you see it if sch tell you to pay 35k as council money and nmcn is charging 33k (2k for logistics in sch). That's what's happening in Delta and other SONs. It's called Fraud. They want to make the nursing education expensive
Dear @Nigeria_NMC It pains me that Nursing and Midwifery Council doesn't have an avenue for student nurses to complain about terrible treatments and evil happening in nursing schools, Some of them want to speak up but how? Heads of nursing schools keep them in constant fear!
Which authority in Nigeria hearNurses and student Nurses voice when they cry? Are they concerned about their welfare? What image are these authorities projecting to the public? When will this incompetence and gross misconduct end?
I will say it over and over again that the nursing education in Nigeria currently is purely money-oriented. Why won't Nurses leave to where they find greener pastures when all a place could offer them is not tantamount to what they expended in the course of their training.
I believe the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria has disciplinary measures in place for such act because justice ⚖️ MUST be served. This is a wake-up call to @Nigeria_NMC and other authorities affiliated with Nursing body that alot of negligence has been overlooked.
Well said 👍 The SON students need a good reply and know the way forward. On the other hand, the injured students from the school that shared same venue with them and was dragged into the situation even without having a hand in what went wrong should have justice.
..And school mgt should take responsibility for this mishap and give the students a potential date to re-write the Exam. As leaders nd administrators,we must continually demonstrate accountability in all our affairs; as this will promote the trust of members under our leadership
A scheduled video conference call with the students seating in a hall will really help reassure the students and restore confidence in the regulatory body. As at today, we don't know who to blame for the delayed provision of indexing number but I think the NMCN ... (2/3)
A word from the NMCN regional or National registrar will be very helpful at this time Even though the Examination have been postponed till further notice in Delta state,I believe the NMCN have a responsibility of addressing the students if that has not been done. (1/3)

Dear Nursing students in Delta State, I hope my message finds you well. I share part of your ongoing pains and distress and will like to let you know that you aren't alone. To see your fellow students done with Paper 1 and 2 without you is undoubtedly disturbing!
We wrote @Nigeria_NMC registrar and @NANNM_NGR president at the early hours of yesterday to seek a redress to the ongoing issues at Delta state school of nursing. Silence isn’t an option, our leaders must start taking responsibility for the position they hold.
In a saner clime, somebody would have resigned, NMCN & NANNM would have issued statement, the media would give full coverage and demand explanation. The government would then ensure justice. These future UKRN & USRN deserve better treatment please 🙏
