Regarding #DragQueenStorytime, there’s some simple questions we can ask to see what’s going on here: 1) Are these performers willing to read to audiences who are not children, but may appreciate being read to, such as the bed bound elderly and disabled? If not, why not? 2) Are…

This photograph powerfully captures one reason— among many—why Iranians have been risking their lives protesting their government the last two months: Young, modern Iranian women are tired of being ruled by old reactionary men.

Binary sex didn’t exist until the 18th century, it was completely random which half of the population had no rights.

Ok. Fine. Call “cancel culture” “accountability”. You’re still going to have to explain why women are being held “accountable” for saying men aren’t women.

Have been interviewing pan-Canadian resident physicians for specialist training this week. Out of 5 candidates, 3 talked about social justice activism and intersectional feminism without any prompting or relevant context. So bizarre.

It’s a big red flag when charities like Mermaids seek to dismiss legitimate questions about their conduct by misrepresenting them as an attack on the people they represent. It impedes accountability and shores up the myth that self-perceived do-gooders can do no wrong.

If @BCnursemidwife had their way, I wouldn't have told the public that I was facing this witch hunt. They tried to stop me from telling anyone. Lisa Bildy challenged the legality of this. The College ignored us. We made the choice to go public last July: jccf.ca/court_cases/bc…

It might surprise some people to learn that when it comes to sports, a 29 year old man does actually have a physical, biological advantage over a 13 year old girl.

Once a male has gone thru puberty there will always be a large retained performance advantage & bone structure. Why are we asking females to accept competing with a known disadvantage before we even start? Females are not men with less testosterone. Compete with your sex

My two year old just started daycare here in Canada and the staff just invited me to this webinar. I can’t think of anything I would welcome less than these people talking to my toddler about his gender

It really is incredible to see everything that has been done since it was established that female patients operated on by male surgeons are more likely to die. Not.

Reading about the sentencing of the man who murdered Sabina Nessa & I find it unsettling to learn the judge referred to her as 'innocent' & 'wholly blameless'. It suggests some women killed by men deserve it or play some part in their own murder. No woman does
