Keeping in mind that right now, pre Defence Investment Plan publication, everyone is in waiting mode and HMG is not giving answers; and that trying to predict British Army vehicle choices is Divination of highest complexity, my talks and observations lead me to this assessment:

Glorious BV road train. Another Plaform we really should be getting more out of.

More FLF commitment or is the current FLF getting double hatted. Looked like it could've been 3CDO back in the day but not sure they would be interested in this type and scale of deployment these days. 4X serious lacks any mobility and cant double hat.

NATO Forward Land Forces, which will be deployed to Finnish Lapland, Rovaniemi and Sodankylä, will involve all Nordic countries, Netherlands, Britain & France. Sweden will have the leadership of the FLF-forces in Lapland.

Pros and Cons of each? Many of our Non-Peer adversaries will be equipped with BRDM across Africa and the Middle East. How do we Defeat and Overmatch forces that often utilise 14.5/23mm even on Toyota Tecnicals?

Just a wee Sunday night thought. How serious are we with BOXER RCH? Could we try to sway the Polish onto AJAX for Heavy IFV with KRAB in return? Im sure theres benefits for both countries and we get a SPG with alot of real life testing?

⚙️ The AHS Krab was able to benefit from the UK's Braveheart design work however, with the Krab sporting the AS-90 Braveheart turret and 52cal barrel on a K9 Thunder chassis. Nexter were subcontracted to manufacture the barrels initially enabled by tech transfer. 8/

The cost to keep the Warrior fleet running is high due to a massive obsolescence in spares. Trying to keep this small amount running will be astronomical, unless we plan to strip all Warrior to keep these going? What does Warrior do over a armoured D9?

The British Army has set out plans to repurpose surplus Warrior infantry fighting vehicles into remotely or autonomously operated minefield-breaching platforms, under Project ATILLA. ukdefencejournal.org.uk/britain-to-tur…

Austrialian army which would need to cover vast distances, if ever attacked going with MTB chassis for Breachers and ABLV. British Army hung up on BOXER which can only launch the Shorter version of the MLC80 bridge, instead of a MLU on TITAN.

Spain somehow managing to replace GS vehicles 6 Years younger than our half rotten Landrovers. Few more years of PowerPoint and 100,000 KURs and we might have 5 vehicles to replace LR.
