Speaking as someone who's written/performed a Dan Carlin spoof, I want to say: This is utterly insane. I mean, we're trying to do jokes as well, but the knowledge, time and skill this must take is nuts.
For those who don't know, we improvise our shows. Which means we leave a lot of very different versions (from the one that were actually used in the release) on the cutting room floor. Seems a shame. Gotta figure out a way to use more of it to our benefit somehow...
Advice to new authors. A contract may promise royalties, but scrutinise everything, especially the receipt for the advance cheque, to remove any sly wording that signs over your work in its entirety to the publisher. Or get an agent to do that for you. Tricky chaps, publishers.
Man, super bummed last night during the OScar's In Memoriam segment that both Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto passed away last year.

Have you listened to @SpecMediaPod hardcore history spoof called “behold a forest moon”. It is HH style deep dive into the battle of Endor. Truly phenomenal!
This, to me, is #starwars, in one photo. If you're mourning, is there anyone else you’d want to comfort you other than Wicket? You're an orphan, on an alien planet, space pirates killed your family, but there’s this strange creature there to protect and comfort you.
