There are no winners in this horrific situation.
'We want you to win' says the UK Prime Minister when meeting Netanyahu. Even someone with the most primitive understanding of the conflict would know that there is no way to 'win' this conflict militarily. And that type of rhetoric is not only unhelpful, it will stoke violence.
I feel sick at the thought of what is to come in the next few days. Words fail me. I can't concentrate, nor can I distract myself. Palestinians and Israelis deserve better leaders. The world needs better leaders.
