A couple of years ago Google Chrome was actually quite good but now it's just incredibly annoying.


Google Chrome - It sometimes hangs & I have to go into system processes to close the window - Google Chrome, why have you become Rubbish!

Hard drive? Well you want to have a good % of it free. I always go by the rule of thumb that you have to have 30%+ free for a fast computer


Now let's get to the RAM - I think for today's applications 1GB is an absolute bare minimum. Ideally, for a fast computer you want 3GB+


..however software in the future will cater for the hex core, therefore it's a good way to keep your computer fast long term.

If you want to make your computer REALLY fast you could get a quad (4) core or even a hex (6) core processor. AMD do a really good...


What's a good CPU then? Well, these days you'll be looking at a duel core processor - anything which is duel core will be sufficient.
