Springburn Gets Creative, S1 Interdisciplinary group enjoyed taking photographs of local landmarks and architecture. The sunny weather was definitely a bonus 😎
I always try to encourage pupils to take risks and work outwith their comfort zone and so glad Higher pupil Dylan trusted the process. Mixed media studies, including geli printing of Springburn Park Glasshouse.
Higher Final Expressive pieces. Well done Dana, Leonora, Precious and Kai! I've taught these pupils from S3 and it's been a pleasure to see them grow in confidence and find their own creative voices.❤

Lovely S2 abstract landscape paintings on sale at the The Winter Showcase this evening @springburnacad. There will also be an exhibition of pupils work and lots of amazing musical performances. The event runs from 6.30pm to 8.30 pm.

S1 9 doing amazing work today, from their lovely prints to being really good at working together and tidying up. So chuffed to award the whole class merits. 😊
