After the Reservoir we went to the Sagamore AMD Site in Indian Head. The kids saw firsthand that Mtn Watershed identified a problem and are rehabilitating a freshwater ecosystem by filtering acid mine drainage before it enters Indian Creek. @PennsylvainaDEP @CASDFalconSuper
It was the PERFCT day for maiden voyages of our SeaPerch ROV’s! Students took turns as captains, testing their robots’ maneuverability in a MUCH BIGGER POOL! Groups took a sample and had it tested by Jace and Morgan from Mtn Watershed. @seaperch @PennsylvaniaDEP @CASDFalconSuper
