Murch is right. If Bitcoiners want to be heard by Core devs then they shouldn’t be making noise on social media. Rather they should go to Chaincode Labs offices at 450 Lexington Avenue, NYC - they’ll hear you much better there.
This especially fails because it strongly conflicts with Bitcoin Core contributor interests. A signal that making noise on social media is a viable way to getting Bitcoin Core developers to make technically unsound changes would undermine the credibility of the project.
