I think we need to think about how long a ‘good clerking’ (and we likely won’t reach consensus on this definition) actually takes The most recent data suggests it takes 22 mins for an SHO to clerk a patient. rcpjournals.org/content/clinme…

Final year UK med student here. Going public with some experiences of a compulsory online exam. Summary: students threatened with disqualification from becoming doctors (in a pandemic) due to problems with online exams (incl. some being forced to urinate in their seats)
Reminder that tier 3 or 4 means that COVID cases are very high and you should minimise being with other people if it can be helped. It does not mean testing the letter of the law to the limit just because it isn't illegal.

People have died in hospital without family, been buried alone, and gone without seeing their own children for weeks to follow the rules and slow the spread of the virus. And yet Dominic Cummings flouts the rules to visit a 2nd home, and is defended by the Government 🙄

First week as a Doctor ✅ Back in A&E and loving every minute of it! Lots of senior support, everyone is so friendly and plenty of opportunities for impromptu teaching. But I never remember being this tired as a Medical Student by the end of the week.. 🤣😴
