Really fun afternoon at the SIPBS Biomedical staff vs student quiz!
Any microbiologists know why the clear zone goes clear if you place an antibiotic disc on a bacteria coated agar plate. Like why the colour change ? Is it bacterial cell wall lysis ? The bacteria is dead but it’s still there so why the colour change ?

It took me SEVEN years to figure out that you can save a ggplot as a vectorized .svg file ggsave("file.svg"). The svg file can be opened on powerpoint and it will be completely vectorized, even text are still recognized as text boxes! No more recreating plots on illustrator!!!!!
