What a fabulous day with Kirklees @WYP_Cadets at @Nat_Mem_Arb I had a good walk round but still didn’t see everything, I’ll have to visit again. The Cadets were amazing and represented @WestYorksPolice brilliantly.

Carla from @htafcfoundation came to visit Kirklees @WYP_Cadets last night to talk about the work the Foundation does in the community. The Cadets are fundraising for the Foundation via their Tuck Shop, so it was nice to hear where their donations will be going.
Kirklees @WYP_Cadets were put through their paces last night and practiced marching. They were taught by Air & Sea Cadets, who were absolutely brilliant. Hopefully we all move in the right direction on Sunday for the Remembrance Parade! 🤞🏻

The new cohort of @WYP_Cadets cadets have been out on their first ever "patrol" and helped to spread the word about Burglaries. The Cadets worked with the NPT Officers in London Park, Savilletown and Earlsheaton to deliver leaflets about how to prevent burglaries.
We held the Awards Evening for Kirklees Police Cadets last night. It was very emotional and I am so proud of every single one of them. Our Inspector surprised me and @stuart5646 with an award too, which was lovely. Our shiny new Cadet cohort starts next week!
Tonight Kirklees said goodbye to Cohort 4 with our awards night. We Celebrated C.A.D.E.T.S -Confidence, Ambition, Dependability, Endurance, Tenacity and Strength (we also thanked those who support us) and charitable donations were made to @htafcfoundation and @ForgetMNotChild

Kirklees @WYP_Cadets have been at Kirkheaton Over 60s Lunch Club today. I spoke to them about frauds & scams, and Cadets Sam & Ben gave out Safe Tea bags to everyone.
I spent most of yesterday sat on the floor sorting Children’s clothes with Cadet Clarke! All worth it as we have a fantastic resource for both sides of the district to use.
Well done to Kirklees Cadet team for collecting clothing and equipment bags for children and vulnerable young adults who are taken into police protection. Special thanks to #Sainsburys for providing four boxes of new clothes Pc Baines and Sgt Clarke. #Protectingour vulnerable
Kirklees @WYP_Cadets Sam & Oliver were at Mirfield “Friday Friends” today, with me and @WYP_Dewsbury NPT Officer, PC Price. I spoke to them all about Frauds & Scams and we handed out “Safe Tea” bags with lots of info and most importantly, a @YorkshireTea teabag! 🫖
@WYP_Cadets visited Whitley Over 60s Club on 6th August as part of their “Safe Tea” project. PC Baines, Sgt Clarke & Cadet Florence spoke to the group about frauds & scams, and handed out “Safe Tea” packs filled with information and bits & pieces to keep belongings safe.
The sun is out at @emleyshow (Thank Goodness!). Come and find the Police stand, we’re right by the entrance. The off road bike team are here, Kirklees @WYP_Cadets can dress up in our mini uniforms, print your own fingerprints and talk to the @WYP_Wildlife Team. 🦡🦉🐿️
@WYP_Cadets visited an Early Onset Dementia group at the Brian Jackson Centre, Huddersfield. The Cadets handed out "Safe Tea" bags that are filled with advice about frauds & scams and a Yorkshire Tea bag so the recipient can have a cuppa whilst they read all the information.
