You pay for DANCE LESSONS not for the hrs we take to stone costumes or create headpieces, you don’t pay us for a wknd away from our fam while at comp. Instead of complaining you should humbly say thank you to your SO & teachers for the extras they do just to see YOUR kid shine.
If you want to be paid for what you do ppl need to know it’s worth it.
Teachers: if you aren’t offering your classes depth and inspiration, and if youre putting routines on stage yr after yr looking same ol same ol... dont be mad when you’ve been replaced. It’s all about SUBSTANCE
Everyday I ask myself if I can keep doing this. Is it worth the hit sacrifices. I think we all need to ask ourselves this often, otherwise we end up way off course
Neighbor studio just posted a “sneak peak” of their routines for our founders day fair. So kind of them to reignite the flame that was my 2015 junior groups 😂👌🏼 maybe I should reteach to my kids and it can be all bring it on #brrrritscoldinhere
This holiday season maybe instead of seeing Disney’s Nutcracker in theaters, support local talent and businesses and see a live performance from a local company.

No shows for Saturday privates makes me want to cringe. Whether it’s paid for or not that’s time away from my family, and when you’re complaining of others progress I’ll remind you that your priorities were else where in the fall 😡

I’m a mom too. I totally get not wanting to buy your kid a new pair of tap shoes every 6 months. However, they can’t correctly tap in those clown shoes you sent. Extra room to grow doesn’t work when their heels can’t even stay in the shoe.
Please tell me I’m not the only person whose husband accuses them of moving/hiding their shit all. the. time. Like the man he is it’s 100% him misplacing or not putting his stuff back where it should go 🙄

One week in and I already feel like my job title should change to bill collector. Parents don’t make our jobs harder, either pay your dance bills on time or don’t sign your kid up. Dance isn’t a mandatory extra curricular activity.
Said Sr whose mom assumed her solo was free is now too strapped for cash and her daughters schedule is too full for dance this year. 🤔 ok cool, quit dance your Sr yr because you can’t afford the totally optional not even necessary solo that wasn’t $0 👌🏼
Anyone have any tips on getting my resume to the right people for judging? Kiddos are finally old enough for me to be away for a weekend but I feel like my attempts have been overlooked mail/email. Any insight would be appreciated ☺️
Family members who think that because I own a studio they get free classes, oh and “hey your passing my house so can you drive my kid too?” 🤔 nope, think I’m all set.
People who want to book private lessons without paying for it first 😂 do you take your groceries home, cook meals and THEN pay for them!?
No I cannot reuse your daughters costume from last year, she’s 4inches taller and put on healthy weight with that height. Let’s not shove her in a costume 2 sizes too small 💡
