Blaming attention span on a movie that doesn’t properly convey its story, themes, characters & world building is certainly a choice. If the movie fails to capture the attention of the audience then that’s the movie’s fault not the audience, the script is bad & needs fixing
The problem with Iron Lung is that it wasn't made for the general audience. It was clearly made with a certain audience in mind. The general audience will get bored with the movie because if they're not frequently stimulated, they'll sleep through it like Isaac did.
