The Town of Suffield advances preparedness- declares emergency due to first confirmed COVID 19 cases. suffieldct.gov/our-town/news/…

Not the way we wanted to start off Spring, but in the interest of public safety the town has made the decision to temporarily close all town playgrounds, basketball & tennis courts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for your understanding.

For the health and safety of our staff and the general public we ask that if you need police services, to call us, at (860)668-3870, rather than come to our department lobby, unless it’s absolutely necessary to do so. Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately we have had to temporarily suspend some of our department programs available to the public. Until further notice we will not be able to offer: -fingerprinting -car seat installation -the ride along program -the use of our training/community room.

Sign up for alerts and get updates on Suffield's response to COVID-19 at suffieldct.gov/departments-se…

Honored to help Peter Osowiecki celebrate retirement from 30 yrs with @SuffieldPolice at a big celebration tonight. Peter may be leaving the force but will continue on with his important work as a Canine Master Trainer. Great event with huge crowd of family, friends & colleagues.

Always a great time seeing these two amazing @CT_STATE_POLICE Officers: Trooper Grant and Trooper Cummings — both who I had the pleasure of doing Facebook Lives with in the past! They brought donuts and hugs in today #NationalHugANewspersonDay
