ASU has seen scoring from up and down its entire lineup through four games this season. Cruz Lucius: "I think if you want to be a top team in the country, your whole team needs to step up and that's what we've been doing."
ASU will know early next week if sophomore defensman Brasen Boser will return from injury and be available to play at Augustana, Greg Powers said. "He's gonna be a huge breath of fresh air to get back and give us a little bit more poise from the back end." @SunDevilSource
ASU bounced back from being swept by No. 4 Penn State last weekend with a Tournament win to even its record to 2-2. Greg Powers: "You hope that winning breeds winning... and before you know it maybe you find yourself in Las Vegas at the end of the year." @SunDevilSource
ASU led in the entirety of its 5-2 win over Alaska Fairbanks and even tacked on three third-period goals, showing improvement in its ability to close out games. Greg Powers: "Way better. I don't think [Fairbanks] had a grade-A until they scored their goal."

ASU has had the lead going into the third period in each of its first four games, and has won two of them. Greg Powers pointed this out as an area for his team to develop: "Putting a full 60 (minutes) together, we still haven't done it."
CJ Fite following ASU's 42-10 loss at Utah: "They got us physicality wise. They out physical-ed us. We weren't making tackles. Thinking too much. Once you start doing all that it just throws you off your game. They got us tonight, so we just gotta go back to the drawing board."
Kenny Dillingham on ASU's matchup next week against No. 9 Texas Tech: "If our guys wanna beat probably a top 5 team in the country in Texas Tech... Texas Tech played this team (Utah) and they won... We lost. It sucks. Learn from it. And you gotta go to the next game."
