Our Hiab Lorry was down at @PooleTownFC Club this morning delivering two bags of Type 1 Dorset Limestone. Suttles donated the material to assist the club in creating a wider entrance to improve emergency access and to aid in the setting up of one-way systems.
Suttles are currently assisting with emergency works for our client @earlcoate, who are working on behalf of @newforestdc. The rock armour is being delivered to stabilise the base of the cliff in Milford-on-Sea. In all, 600 tonnes of rock be will delivered utilising two lorries.
We have recently purchased two new Volvo tippers, replacing our two eldest equivalents in our modern fleet. The Volvo FMX 420’s have improved safety features & visibility, benefiting from 4-way camera systems and integral door windows to aid visibility of vulnerable road users.
Two of our Lorries have been on turnaround today at Boscombe Overcliff taking muck away for Shorestone Construction Ltd, @Suttle_Projects attended the site in June for Atlantis Developmets initialling a contiguous piled wall, 450mm diameter piles between 8.5 & 6.5m in length
Suttles have had a further 35 solar panels installed, funded by @LowCarbonDORSET as part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Estimated savings of 10 tonnes of CO2 per year. #wessexecoenergy #lowcarbondorset youtu.be/-IX9td0nnAs
