3. In 107 years we spent 27 years as 1 of 4 DLPs in @ee_labour, worked closely since 1964 with @cwclp as part of Sutton LGC, have fraternal links with @SuttonCoopParty, longstanding connections with @MMLabour & since 2000 worked closely with @CroydonLabour to fight the GLA seat
2. In 2028 Sutton & Cheam DLP (& from 1945 CLP) will celebrate 100 years on the same boundaries give or take 2-3 roads. It's arguable the CLP can also trace history back to 1898 (127 years ago) as 1 of the 90 SDF branches thanks to @rurallabouruk research x.com/rurallabouruk/…
1. A happy 107th Birthday today to @SuttonCheamCLP Founded as a full DLP as part of @ee_labour (one of 1st 361 CLPs) at midsummer in a pub named after Robin Hood.
