Today marks 50 years since the entry into force of the Biological Weapons Convention, the first multilateral disarmament treaty to ban an entire category of WMD. Sweden remains committed to the treaty and call upon all states that have not yet joined the Convention to do so.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the #1972BWC, experts will share insights on the past, present & future of the Convention in a series of panel discussions on 26 March. Come along to learn more & celebrate at an after-event reception from 18:00. 📍Room XXI, ⌚15:15 - 18:00 CET.
