Happy Heritage Open Days! We hope everyone’s having a great festival. If you fancy an evening of gruesome entertainment, we’ll be giving a free talk on ‘Effluence & Epidemics’ in Central Library tomorrow. There’ll be a chance to tour the Local Studies collection too!

We had a great visit from students at Lawn Manor Academy last week! We introduced them to the Local Studies collection, and were able to show them some photos, scrapbooks and magazines from the school during its Churchfields era.

The knowledgeable volunteers from the Wiltshire Family History Society will be on hand in Local Studies on Monday 9th June to help anyone with their family history. Drop in between 2pm-3:30pm, no booking needed.
What is available in your Local Studies collection? There’s almost too much to list, so why not come and explore! We are open 10am-4pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10am-1pm Saturdays.
