One bonus to the dry spring is the rough remaining thinner. Also found an area where we stop the annual cut collecting of the rough. Shows perfectly the benefits of doing this practice every year even if the benefits don’t appear as obvious at times.

Work progressing nicely on 14, approach contoured and turf being put back down, bunker shape formed. Still lots to do!
Productive first day of project season, excellent effort by the team again. This piece of work on our Par 3 14th involves dropping the front of the green, new contours for the approach and installing a revetted pot bunker. Early days but taking shape.

Just about full recovery from recent hollow coring, not a bad turnaround time considering the unbelievably dry weather. Fresh set of blades on today and normal cutting resumes @neprocore @Aitkens_turf @terralift
A bit of mid season compaction relief. Huge thanks to Jack and Gordon for the hard graft, Benny at @neprocore and Jamie at @FGAdamsonandSon. Some @terralift Rocastem and Soilmax going down the holes in the morning for maximum impact, followed by 29t sand.
Nice little jaunt down to @WhitbyGC_Greens today to hollow core 18 greens and two practice greens. Course looks fab guys. Thanks for having me. See yous again in September.
