The key to profitability on sandy soils is, keeping your inputs "in where you put 'em"! University research shows SWRT membranes keep as much as 50# more N in the root zone along with other mobile crop inputs. Farmers have recorded 15 to 50 bpa increases in corn.
The first rule of water conservation is "don't waste". It's not your fault that your sandy soils waste a great deal of the rain/irrigation water applied but you can keep much more of that valuable moisture in the rootzone of your crop along with other crop inputs with SWRT.
In wet years, significant inputs can leach below the root zone and be a wasted investment. SWRT membranes keep more of these valuable inputs in the rootzone for your crops use and protects groundwater from pollution.

With the tremendous increase in productive potential of todays seed, if our soils were at peak health as well what would our production per acre be for corn, soys, wheat, other? What is the limiting factor to obtaining peak soil productivity and health?

Out of sight and out of mind is the loss by deep percolation of our precious irrigation and rainfall taking with it mobile crop nutrients and other inputs on 10's of millions of acres of sandy soils in the USA alone. SWRT is University and field proven to stop the leak!
T1 had a 44.9% higher water efficiency than treatment T2. This increase was due to the use of less water as a result of the use of SWRT in T1, which saved large amounts of water and nutrients in addition to increasing crop output. iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…
