Kudos to the UK government, David Rogers and everyone else who agitated for electronic device manufacturers to be legally required to give independent security researchers a way of communicating the flaws they have discovered.
As far as I am aware, the UK is the first country in the world to put vulnerability disclosure into law. This is a massive vote of confidence in security research and puts many companies' product security & behaviour towards the hacking community on notice bills.parliament.uk/bills/3069
