The Circassian dance group at #syriafest is just absolutely incredible. One of the parents of the dancers is explaining the cultural dances to me.
As we wandered around D.C. today we came across the #SyriaFest. A fantastic celebration of culture but also used as an opportunity to educate. I was very impressed with the @DCPoliceDept & learning about the specialised units they have to listen to & help minorities 😊
