2) Services are an essential good in all our lives. We all have a right to healthcare, education etc. But they're not sufficient. We all need relationships, family, connection too. All of this together produces outcomes
A great turn out for 'How Will We Achieve Systems Change in Public Services' (150 people from all over the world!), the first session of #HLSWeek, which looked at different approaches to human-centred, strengths-based and co-produced public services.
A few takeaways from the #HLSWeek launch event i just chaired with @Voa1234 @geerai @Kathy_CEO_CE & Alex Palmer from Liverpool Combined Authority. 1) So much HLS practice is about going back to first principles for public service. Listening. Empathy. Starting from shared humanity
Lovely buzz in the @CollaborateCIC team today as we kick off #HLSWeek. Theres still time to join the 650+ participants! 📝bit.ly/hlsweek
Thanks all for a great kick-off to #HLSWeek Great message: start somewhere, expect messiness, learn, learn, learn!
