Sometimes you query for months w/ no luck & you think you must actually suck @ writing. Then sometimes you get your first full request < 12 hours after sending the query. 🎵That's me in the corner that's me in the spotlight crying like a baby🎵🥲 #amquerying #WritingCommunity
Pros of dog bathing job: Money, dogs, lots of time to think Cons: truly impossible to write down said thoughts (which are gone as soon as you get time in the evenings), wet All The Time, somehow still have dog hair on you even after showering
Writer math is when you plan an entire wip around one niche scene you had in a vision that won’t occur until the final act of the book
Ain't had conjunctivitis for literally 2 decades, but 3 weeks into preschool my child brings it home and now *I* can't see out of one eye. Meanwhile two doses of eyedrops and she's fine (which is great!) but I now have to do oral antibiotics about it. -_- #parentlife amirite?

Idk what I created in that yogurt maker, but it was NOT yogurt. Whatever happened in there was horrifying, both for the poor bacteria who clearly lost a vicious war with their more monstrous cousins, and for me, the idiot who (thankfully?) taste tested it.🤢 #kitchenfail #cooking

To be clear, I'm not opposed to the concept of AI or learning models in general. But I am massively against the way they're being made/trained (THEFT), the people they're run by, & the way ppl are trying to use it to put creatives (ME!) out of work. #AI #writing #creativework

Might have to kick my dyspraxic butt into gear and learn to draw at the ripe old age of 30 just so I can draw the little comics and "shows" my 4-year-old is making up. She's got some real bangers.

We started bath early, & she still just barely fell asleep at 8:30. I genuinely have no idea how she did it. That was *14 hours* awake, and not one of them was spent peacefully. It seems she is *not* ready to lose the nap after all.😅 #momfail #parenting
-Consumed approximately half her weight in snacks from 1pm to 4pm exclusively -Grazed on the microgreens like a horse -Walked facefirst into the bathroom door and didn't appear to notice -Screeched so loud for no reason that the downstairs neighbor baby started crying
