Pleased to see my Private Members Bill come into force today. It gives the Forensic Science Regulator statutory powers to enforce quality standards to avoid miscarriages of justice and improve criminal prosecutions. A small law which I hope will make a big difference.

For my project this year I have been working with fibres;I’m trying to determine wether duration of contact causes more fibres to be transferred, but also to see if natural fibres shed more than synthetic fibres. This video demonstrates how the research was conducted #UWEMres2022
