I know many Tower Hamlets residents have missed the legendary Bonfire Night fireworks in Victoria Park in recent years. This much-loved event brought our community together. That is why I am pledging to reinstate the fireworks in Vicky Park if I am elected as Mayor next May.
Seriously unimpressed with the state of Carlton Square & Garden earlier. It should be one of the jewels in Tower Hamlets' crown, but looks like it hasn't been litter-picked or swept in ages. I've asked for this to be done + monitored, but LBTH also needs to show it much more love

Great to see these new council homes on the former garages at the rear of O'Brien House being advertised for letting. These ten well-designed, genuinely affordable, family-sized homes were commissioned by @TH_Labour's Mayor + cllrs in 2020, funded by @MayorofLondon. #BuildingHope
Today, to revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and Israelis, and a two state solution, the United Kingdom formally recognises the State of Palestine.
It was great privilege to attend the 2nd anniversary of #Bishwanath Sports Organisation. Fantastic to hear about their amazing achievements in a short space of time. Inspired to hear about their work to promote sports especially to children from impoverished background. Congrats
