We have updated our map of Syria to reflect recent changes, notably the accession of the 8th Brigade to Syrian government control and the escalating situation between Druze militia, Bedouin, and the government. Turkish-aligned militia control in Northern Syria is still displayed.

The RSF also entered the nearby town of al-Hageina al-Jalabah. Although there are SAF soldiers in er-Rahad, anti-RSF operations are limited to the Kordofan highway and other essential infrastructure.
Today, the RSF looted and attacked the towns of Umm Bishar and Umm Sarir in North Kordofan. The group came within 10 km of the recently recaptured city of er-Rahad. The RSF has kept its control south of the Kordofan highway and continues to threaten SAF supply to south Kordofan.

Yesterday, Syrian Assadist rebels ambushed HTS near the town of Deir Bushul. Although the frequency of insurgent attacks has decreased, Assadist presence in the rural mountains is high. The decrease in violence has more to do with government withdrawal than military victory.
