Here's the insanity that we live with here in Canada. We're fine with buying from another country (even USA) rather than use same production methods here. We can produce it cheaper & cleaner, but let's pretend we are reducing CO2 by letting another country produce it globally.
China currently has 1,200 coal power plants in operation and emits more CO2 than the US, India, Russia, Japan, Mexico, Germany & Canada combined. This net-zero carbon economy is a fucking scam. The only toxic gas I see is the CO2 coming out of the mouths of our politicians.
