UCSD Team Camp notes 6-4 2027 Mt Carmel W Tyler Humphrey is rapidly developing as a prospect. Long, lanky sharpshooter is best off the catch, but shows flashes of attacking close outs downhill. Projects well as a long-term prospect even if he doesn’t grow - which is unlikely

Congratulations @TMcentee30 for being named Valley League Coach of the Year. The Sundevils finished 9-1 in league play in the first year under Coach McEntee and will look to continue their great season during the CIF Div 2 playoffs starting this week.
Congratulations to senior Erias Bandoy and sophomore Makai Orje on being honorable mentions for the All Valley League Teams. Both have been consistent scorers for the Sundevils while taking on the toughest defensive assignments all year long.
Congratulations to Raymond Hourani on being named to the All Valley League First Team. The senior Forward averaged a double double with a line of 11.0 PTS, 10.4 REB, 2.1 AST, and 2.4 BLK. He has shown tremendous growth as a player this year.
Congratulations to Jimmy Milder for being named All Valley League Second Team. The senior wing averaged 11.2 PTS, 5.3 REB, & 3.0 AST during league play. The sharpshooter has been played excellent defense as well this year.
Congratulations to Gianni Bernabe for being named Valley League Player of the Year. The senior guard averaged 14.0 PTS, 5.0 AST, 2.2 STL in league play and has come up huge for the Sundevils time and time again.
I’m so incredibly proud of what this team has accomplished in year 1 at the helm. Time to get after it next week in playoffs. Outright League Champions!!!!!
With an 87-68 victory at Valley Center the Sundevils varsity team has won the Valley League title outright. Mt. Carmel finished the regular season with a record of 16-12 (9-1). The Sundevils will begin the CIF playoffs with a home game next Wednesday 2/14.
Gameday for the Sundevils!!! Mt. Carmel will travel north to Valley Center for the final contest of Valley League play and the conclusion of the regular season. The Sundevils are currently 8-1 in League play and hope to secure an outright league title with a victory this evening.
