An awful story. And to think #Croydon council are tasked with running licensing schemes to regulate private #landlords (for a hefty fee), yet this is how they look after their own stock. Pretty poor show. itv.com/news/2021-03-2…
We have a v strange way of dealing with property. No other industry is treated like this. If successive govts had built 1mn social homes from the receipts of selling 2mn council ones, we could house the vulnerable. Instead PRS is asked to do it 1st at a discount and now for free.
