Children’s confusion is right now more important than their learning. Let’s not add to distress by lists of tasks. This week has become a defining moment of our kids’ childhood. We grown-ups are right now (this day: 20 March 2020) shaping what emotional lessons they will learn.
@suzannezeedyk tough for older children who are being given mass ‘home learning’ - my 8 year old tearful last night having 30 ‘tasks’ to complete - their concept of context and time not as advanced as adults - had to work to manage that last night #managingtransitions
What a week! Today we collected 20,000 pre-paid Farmfoods cards with another 12,000+ to come - they will be posted out to all families in @GlasgowCC in receipt of clothing grants next week to help at this difficult time
